I cannot recommend Brittany highly enough. My son had a significant speech delay, and the very first time Brittany met with him she was able to diagnose what everyone else had missed. She was so professional and warm as she explained to me exactly what was happening, gave me a great recommendation of where we could have a procedure done for treating it, and exactly what to expect in that process. She continued therapy with my son afterwards and he made leaps and bounds of progress in a short amount of time - plus was always excited to tell me how much fun he had with her! Her way of teaching is both fun and effective. She will always have a special place in our hearts for helping my son to find his voice!
Our district moved to grade alike buildings when our son was going into fifth grade and that meant a new speech therapist among many other changes. We loved our son's speech therapist during his elementary years and change always brings a level of apprehension for parents of children with special needs. The "handoff" was flawless and we could not have been more pleased with how Brittany worked with his previous therapist and built on the years of her work. She put his needs first and always made sure to communicate with us and included us in setting his goals. She asked for input in terms of what we see at home and incorporated many life skills into speech therapy - the post office and the grocery store were worked into weekly sessions. Brittany gets to know every child she works with and wants the very best for them. She is a fantastic speech therapist because she is invested and cares.
